Executive Team

Brett Thompson

Chief Executive Officer
B.App.Sc. (Nutrition), PostGradDip. Dietetics, M.B.A, Cert. Adv. Mgt.

With an impressive breadth of experience across multiple healthcare services spanning over the past 32 years, Brett has in-depth expertise in managing complex organisations with a focus on delivering person-centred outcomes.

Brett has established and developed his leadership and operational capabilities in multiple senior roles including Chief Operating Officer, Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, Director of Operations for Murrumbidgee Local Health District, General Manager of Westmead and Auburn Hospitals, and acting Director Patient Support Services (HealthShare) the position he held prior to his appointment as Interaction’s CEO.


Maggie Vincent

General Manager, Operations

Maggie has over thirty-five years’ experience in supporting children and adults with disabilities, both within government and non-government sectors. The past twenty-two of those years have been with Interaction. Maggie oversees Accommodation, Direct Support and Support Coordination services.


Gurdeep Masson

Financial Controller

Gurdeep has been with Interaction for nearly thirteen years, and in her current role as Financial Controller since 2010. She holds a master’s degree in economics in addition to qualifications in IT software solutions & financial accounting. Gurdeep has played a vital role in improving the financial sustainability of the organisation by working closely with the Funding Bodies, Management and the Board of Directors.


Lauren Asmussen

Executive Officer & Company Secretary

Lauren has been a part of Interaction for close to two decades, and joined the Executive Leadership team in 2016. She leads the corporate management of Administration, Marketing and IT; project management; organisational strategic growth, compliance and accreditation activities.


Samantha Hiley

Human Resources Manager

Samantha has been with Interaction since 2011 and leads the Human Resources team to provide ongoing support, training and advice to more than 300 staff.
